ART FOR SELF DISCOVERY
A FIVE PART DIVE INTO YOUR CREATIVE SUBCONSCIOUS
Are you curious about the situations in your life?
Did you expect things would be different by now?
Do you know why you make the decisions you do?
Would you like to explore your creativity?
Have more relaxation and flow in your life?
In a way that you can’t get it wrong?
Art For Self Discovery is a five part course which leads you into an improved relationship with yourself and your life. The course consists of five creative activities, each with a meditation element, which are designed to generate the state of ‘flow’ which is where you become totally absorbed in what you are doing and this is what top psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi calls the secret to happiness.
In this course I am sharing five ways that small creative projects can show us things about ourselves, if we decide stop to listen. They may be things we do already; it is how we choose to look at them that can tell us what may be going on beneath the surface.
Learn:
The secrets your subconscious has been hiding from you
How to use mindfulness to get in touch with your creative side
How to mix meditation and creativity and make art from the heart
How mindful art can create a new perspective - see yourself in a new positive light
Create 'flow' (the 'secret to happiness')
How to be more creative and in tune with yourself.
As an artist, I have explored themes of identity and self-acceptance through the boundaries of psychology, mindfulness and the impact of creativity on wellbeing. I have discovered that creativity is good for us!
Enjoy:
practical exercises you can repeat any time
a free piece of meditation music
create art you can display to reinforce your thinking
learn tools you can apply to other aspects of your life
bonus gifts on completion of the course
By taking this course you will create a better understanding of what makes you tick. You might identify some patterns that highlight your real aspirations or uncover some issues from your past that you had suppressed and hadn’t realised were still bothering you. You might realise there are areas in which you'd like to see some change, or perhaps that actually your life is pretty cool but you have been too busy to notice and slowing down to appreciate things might be helpful.
